Galactic War - Earth
Our team has been hard at work on all aspects of creating a truely compelling tabletop skirmish game. Fleshing out the story or lore of the games universe, designing the miniatures that make up the various factions, producing the rules by which the game is played and creating the attributes, statistics and mechanisms that combine to establish an individual miniatures gameplay.
If you're like us you love playing tabletop skirmish games. The joy of commanding miniatures within the landscape set out
by the rules of the game; of positioning your miniatures to overcome your enemy. Laying the perfect trap where all the odds are in
your favour, and then the crushing blow of an unlucky role of the dice reflecting the randomness of conflict.
With this in mind we set out to create a tabletop skirmish game FIRST. A game that could be played by grabbing a bunch of
miniatures, laying out some scenery scooping up some dice and playing! And that's actually what we did.
Once we had a game the was fun to play on the tabletop we set about transitioning it into the digital world of Virtual Reality.
Our goal is not to replace tabletop skirmish gaming with a computer game. Why would we, tabletop gaming it GREAT!
Our goal is to provide the best option for a tabletop skirmish when the opportunity to setup and play a game is not available.
Over the comming months we'll be continuing to work on all aspects of Galactic War : Earth, and we'll be sharing our progress through news articles on our website. Our plan is to release Summer 2026 on the Meta Quest VR store and Steam VR.
